Continuing on with the Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter review - Sweet Tart is medium blue pink that's just bright enough to lit up your face without stepping into the drag queen zone. While the formulas and textures vary within the range, Sweet Tart seems to have the exact same finish, level of pigmentation and staying powder as Tutti Frutti, the first lip butter I have reviewed. Basically, it's soft, squishy (broke from the base before I even used it), a little glue-stick like. While it's sheer, the color can be layered to around 70% of full coverage.
Actually, I found that my natural purply pink red lip color enhances the color by a notch so it ends up looking more opaque and the finish appears more balmy (instead of buttery/greasy) compared to the sheerer shades of lip butters I have tried.
Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Sweet Tart (on a particularly good lips day)
Sweet Tart with Colorburst Lip Gloss in Strawberry - It looks pretty on its own but the ultra soft formula also copes wells with liquid (some drugstore lipsticks with sheer/runny formula get diluted way too easily).
Overall - While I don't find Sweet Tart particular moisturizing or nourishing (what it claims to be), it's a flattering pink lipstick with a smooth formula and a sleek packaging. I guess I do like the range, just not as crazy about it as other beauty bloggers...
