Maybelline Color Sensational High Shine Lipstick Glisten Up Pink

Glisten up Pink should be the last of Maybelline Color Sensational High Shine I review here (unless/until they release a sheer red or an actual orange in their future collection). Out of the 10 available shades, I have purchased 7 (and gave the pale pink away since it's not a shade I wear) and loved most of them for their fruity scent, shiny finish and the build-able pigmentation.
Glisten up Pink is a medium mauve-pink with small sized blue and pink shimmer - The lipstick is rather sheer with one swipe but can be layered to reach about 60-70% of full coverage (when it's colder, the color doesn't go on as well), there is a slight smooth watery sheen to keep it from looking too garish.
Cool toned Color Sensational High Shine lipsticks I own : Mauvilous Shine, Glisten Up Pink, Plum Shine and Disco Pink. Swatched on a sunny afternoon.
Cool Pink side by side: NYC Wild Berry (a cream blush) , L'Oreal Grape Soda, Rimmel Pink Chic and Maybelline Glisten Up Pink. The lighting is not as good on this day so my skin turned a little gray.

Overall: The performance of this shade is pretty consistent but I guess prefer warmer shades in the range.

    1. I think I just own a lot of makeup in general (I have more lipgloss but the number plateaued since I realized that sheer ones more or less looks the same on lips). lol. Maybe I should at least try to change my bad spending habit.
