Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer and Flatbuki Brush

Tan Without the Twinkle (The set is on sale for 10 bucks today, free shipping!)  was actually picked up two months ago, when I needed something to reach free-shipping (I also ended up with more samples, ha!). The set includes a deluxe sample (2.5g)  of their Chocolate Soleil matte bronzing powder and a flatbuki brush.
Chocolate Soleil Bronzer a little more powdery (or maybe my brush just grabs very well)than what I am used. It's fine and silky on the skin as soon as it's applied and blended. Chocolate is described as medium-deep but it colors looks natural on my skin (I still don't know what's my exact match but usually, the lightest ochre from Japanese brands fit me best, NW20 I guess?), a light dusting warms up the my skin by 1-2 shades and it doesn't lean too red, orange or looks sallow.

Call me crazy, I found that the color is also light/natural enough to be used on brow, if you are in a hurry and just want some natural tint. My reasoning is that since 1. bronzer can be used for contouring. 2. Some brow powder/Kanebo Kate one is also designed to be used as contour. 3. Bronzer can be used on brow as well?
Milani Radiant , Too Faced Chocolate Soleil, NYC Sunny. The three shades all works well for their intended purpose, but prefer the softer textured of Too Faced as it's easy to wear on top of just moisturized or sunscreen-ed  face. Anyway, it can be high-potent as well. I just used it to set/on top of Garnier BB Cream (you all know how wet it is) it has transformed me into a boobless Asian Snooky.
Ingredients: Talc, Octyldodecyl Stearoyl Stearate, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Zinc Stearate, Boron Nitride, Sodium Saccharin, Benzyl Benzoate, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Phenoxyethanol, Parfum/Fragrance, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Fruit Powder, Benzyl Alcohol, Silica, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Tocopherol, Mica. May Contain/Peut Contenir/(+/-): Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Ultramarines (CI 77007), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Manganese Violet (CI 77742).
Now to the Flatbuki brush (the reason I picked this set as filler). It's the same brush head as the older cherry blossom printed Flatbuki (on which the prints will get scratched off easily), except with a more princess (instead of little-girly) soft gold ferrule with creamy pink lining.

The hair is smooth enough for the cheeks and there is enough hair and stiffness to grab even firmly pressed blushes (I don't use it for bronzer though). This does what it's supposed to do, fits in bag, washes/dries easily and is reasonably priced. Grab it (at a discount) while you can!

    1. I love the flatbuki as portable blush brush...As for my favorite real Kabuki (for allover powder/blush/bronzer) my favorite is the pink one by 3CE, it got 3 times the fluffy and it's around 10 dollars.

P.S. I read a review (on Too Faced's product page), this powder might bit a little dull if you have a natural glow/tan though.

    1. Yeah, the chocolate biscuit smell is really pleasant...I kind of want to sniff the bourjois as well (and that one actually looks like chocolate!).
