Dickinson's Witch Hazel Foaming Facial Wash

Dickinson's Foaming Facial Wash (around $6 at Walgreens) is a cleanser with a very runny consistency (like those Japanese toner people use to prime their face for other skincare cream) and a pleasant bark-like scent (I guess that would be witch hazel), with my nose it almost seems like cacao nut, chocolatey minus the sticky sweetness.

With several pumps (other wise it won't bubble), the cleansers makes a palmful of fine and creamy foam that cleanses well without leaving any film or tightness. I don't break out or have other reaction with this cleanser since there isn't any fragrance or color (the yellow is from the label on the back). Overall: Great cleanser that gets used up way too quickly (I have used it for a month and it's already 80% gone).

  1. I really like products with a fair amount of Hamamelis (witch hazel) as it is one of the better adstringents without making your face feel like its been having a superfacelift.

Hehe, I never made the connection with Clinique chubby stick but these people do not invent the names for nothing ;). NARS is often more upfront about it but Clinique, and Essie...LOL. Still the teenage giggles about those things

    1. I don't think I have tried that many product containing witch hazel (I only recall the Thayer rose toner) but I think now it's something I will be looking for (sort of)?
