Physicians Formula Baked Bronzer in Baked Tan

If you are a beauty blogger like me (who has a short attention span and who takes forever to finish up a review), things can get a little awkward: By the time I finished testing out that specific product (in this case, the 2 bronzers I have gotten for my very short-lived kick on glow-givers) I am no longer interested in being any darker than I already am. What can I do? Finish the thing up half-hearted (instead of leaving it for next year).
Physicians Formula Baked Bronzer in Baked Tan (made in Italy, like MAC MSF)is a big, 10g  pan of matte bronzer with bronze-gold, glittery veining. It's not awfully dark (lighter than NYC Sunny but with a yellow undertone), has a powdery texture that goes on the skin evenly when used with a fluffy brush. On clear, moisturized skin, it adds a bit of color and a golden glow (from the metallic veining) but the micro-glitter can enhance pores when my skin is in a less-than great condition. I personally like to use it with a BB cream that's too light/ashy since it's a tad too yellow for my liking/not deep enough for shading purposes.

Overall: Nothing spetacular but it's quite handy when you have a white cast (from sunscreen, BB cream or mis-matched foundation) that needs to be bounced off.

P.S. The bronzer is usually around 12 dollars at CVS and grocery store, waiting a 40% off or 6 dollar-off sale and using the attached manufacturers coupon (which will cut 3 or 4 bucks for you) will give you a pretty good deal.

  1. Oh you got an awesome deal on that bronzer! I need to find more coupons because I've always wanted to try more PF stuff. You get a ton of product in the pan!
