D Program Aller Barrier Cream

The sun is coming out and it's time to review more sunscreen! I have reviewed Shiseido D Program AllerBarrier Essence in the past and while it wasn't bad. I am really not feeling the white out sunscreen any more (so 2000s). when I saw this from a drugstore in Tokyo, I had to get one for research.
The allerbarrier (Ahhh I finally realized it's Allergy Barrier not "Aller" in French. Eureka moment anybody?) Cream comes in a low spf 30 PA+++ but being a Shiseido brand, I know they would deliver sufficient protection from fall to early spring. Like most thing d program, it's designed for sensitive skin so it's free from mineral oil, chemical sunscreen or fragrance.
The texture is a thick cream, it reminds me of those old favorite Shiseido turquoise tube (before I realized chemical sunscreen was giving me hives and clogged pores) in a way that it's easy to spread, gives just enough white cast to provide some coverage but still look skin like. While it has some grab to skin, it wasn't too difficult to remove (it never clogged my pore or get rubbed onto my clothes).I finished the last bit of it today and wish I have gotten more...Anyway, it might be too weak and sticky for summer so I am glad it served me through out colder months.
