The Saem Eco Soul Water Eye Tint

The Saem opened its Canal Street store two years ago (just steps away from Tony Moly). During one of their buy one get one free sales, I picked up a few toys to test the water. Funnily, according to the store signs in Chinese "高级化妆品", the Saem markets itself as high end beauty brand when the store feels more mass market. I reviewed their liquid lip color last year and here are two of the cream eyeshadow. Gotta give them credit for the naming.

"Eco Soul Water Eye Tint" makes it sounds possibly natural, lightweight and moisturizing, 10x more tempting than the usual "cream eye color" of American drugstore.
BR-01 Pleasant Cinnamon is a glistening garnet with a velvet sheen. The pretty pigmented red can be spread easily and when it's spread, I found it a little ruddy on my eyes. It's a little more wearable as a liner shade applied very close to lashline.
CR01 Everyday Coral is a peachy coral beige that's nice allover lid. I bought it at CVS (with multiple coupons) while trying to get cash back. The packaging with the fake wooden cap is pretty cute so I enjoy picking them up and playing with them.
Pleasant Cinnamon and Everyday Coral
The Saem Pleasant Coral (cooler and more metallic in full swipe) and Wet n Wild Ruby Heist. The two have nearly same finish and texture, wear and formula.
Everyday Coral, Wet n Wild Shell and Whistle and (also WnW) Copper Cat

Anyway, for near 10-dollar a piece, there really is nothing special about these cream shadow. The colors are pretty generic (nothing that American brands haven't done years ago) so are the formula. Even half off the retail price these are pretty lacklustre. Maybe their skincare are the gem and truly "12 years ahead of rest of the world" but I won't bother as 5 out of 5 items I have from them are pretty low quality.
