Pink Dragon - Estee Lauder Color Envy Shine Lipstick

Estee Lauder Color Envy Shine Lipstick in Pink Dragon was from a it-must-be-stroke purchase I did back in spring (quick recap for the trio set, the nude shade was gunky and the coral, while looks alright, was used then sealed in package). I decided to keep this shade separate from the previous review as the texture seems much better.
Pink Dragon is a shade that's very Estee Lauder, a slightly shimmery creamy/thick magenta, also known as grandma mauve. There are so many ways and ratios to blend purple and pink but Estee Lauder just nails it when it comes to unwanted maturity...

In my opinion, Estee Lauder should think about the color palettes in their range (and possibly doing something to the packing) before shelling out millions on the young spokemodels.
Bask to lipsticks, I don't have many mauve lipsticks so here are the closest things in my stash: Lipstick Queen Butterfly Ball in Sigh, Pink Dragon and Revlon Sultry Samba.

Pink Dragon is smooth, opaque and creamy. It's a decent formula with pleasant lemon scent (texture varies from shade to shade) and it applies well straight from the tube. I just really don't like the color.

Lesson learned: Try before buy (especially for high-end lipstick/gimmicks gift sets).
