Pop of Poppy - Maybelline Color Whisper Lipstick

Pop of Poppy is one of the limited edition Color Whisper Lipstick for the summer. The name mislead me a little, making me think it's a bright warm pink (the pink tinted lid didn't help with the confusion either) when it turns out to be much tamer.

As you can see, it...A neutral medium pink (nude rose) with delicate (glowy but not frosty)silver shimmer.

Just like the other Maybelline Color Whisper lipsticks, this one is smooth, light, and somewhat moisturizing. Some tiny bit of shimmer traveled outside my lips but overall the formula is self-contained. It's not what I expected but it's a conservative shade that let me play up the cheeks a little more.
