Pacifica Tuscan Blood Orange Body Butter

I first heard about Pacifica Tuscan Blood Orange Body Butter from a Youtube Guru, the scent of the body butter was described as a rich, orangey and like Jumba-juice (some organic smoothie place that's popular among college hipster. I am too broke/cheap to have stepped in the store). The 73ml tube retails for 7 bucks at Target and 4 bucks at Marshalls (1 dollar when I found it on clearance, ha!) so it will have a great performance/price ratio as long as it works...It does.

The body butter has a light cream and thicker lotion texture and feels emollient yet lightweight. When used as a hand cream, it gets absorbed quickly and leave no residue. It's probably not a great overnight treatment but it's wonderful for the day time, since it does alleviate dryness noticeably. As for the scent, it was pretty amazing: A lingering blend of orange (the zest and the sweetness), berries and even a hint of tea.
Ingredient list of - Pacifica Tuscan Blood Orange Body Butter. Looks pretty natural (means that I can eat finger food with this on?). Overall: Love the smell (I even have a this in liquid perfume...Ok, I got the perfume before this so I knew I would love it) and how it gets the job done. Great product that's a little expensive at normal retail price.

Here is where I first heard it from - What's In My Bag video by Clothes Encounter/ Jenn Im (Isn't she pretty? ). Her style (90s grunge, which is allover the place right now) is not my thing but I like how articulate she is and how the videos are edited.

  1. I love this cream and the scent is addictive! Does the liquid perfume last? I would definitely get it if it does.

    1. It does! It's like I dipped the tiniest bit on my wrist (didn't even roll the ball) and it stayed for at least 3 hours...I kind of got this cream so that it won't clash with the perfume (which I will be using a lot). Guess I will have to hunt down the solid perfume as well!

    1. Lol, that's exactly what her style (and what seems like the trend according to Nylon magazine and various street style bloggers) is about...People around me aren't very adventrous when it comes to style so the only place I have seen those (beside tattoo artists) and as...dog collars.

  3. lol, poor dogs, just can't like spikes used that way, Some of them (smaller ones) on clothes and shoes are more wearable cause they don't look so punk. :)
