Revlon Scent of Summer Nail Polish Collection

Does it mean that we will be able to see the new lip gloss for Revlon Summer Collection?
Revlon Scent of Summer Collection, like last year's Fruitful Temptation, is a range of scented nail polish. I really don't get the point of the whole scented polish thing, even if they smell nice (some of them make me gag), who in the world sniff their finger tips anyway? Well, at least the shade are all pretty vibrant.
Even the whole collection looks pretty cool, there are actually only one of two popping shades in the whole range. Beach, a shimmering lime and Ocean Breeze, shimmering peacock (which reminds me of Anna Sui metallic eye color in 100) are the "popsters". The other side is rather boring. Some people might like the pastel purple/pink but I personally think they would look like tinted wite-out... Grape Icy looks like a pretty purple but I don't know how it will turn out with the Revlon formula...
Promo image fail- You guys erased Halle's fine line (That's her natural skin texture.Yeah, right...) but you didn't do anything with her visible nail line (I am so not going to buy it if it were really this sheer)? If I am not mistaken, this is a nail polish display...

I saw them in my grocery store (which gets those kind of display 2-3 weeks earlier than CVS/Walgreen/Ulta) You don't need to worry about them going out of stock since I haven't seen the lable "Limited Edition" and many of last year's scented nail polishes are still being restocked in drugstores.

  3. I love your dry humor. who sniffs their nails anyway? LOL Very funny. I been looking for the cotton candy type color but if they are scented it will make my sinus issues even worse.

I don't think I have any sinus issue (although certain perfume makes my nose run like faucet)but these Revlon polishes have really different scents. I got 2 bottles last year while the lilac one smells fruity and sort of nice (for pedicure) a shimmery white one literally knocked me out for a few hours when I wore it. It was like I got the kind of strange headache out of nowhere but it disappear right away when I took the damned thing off...

  5. I'd wear Bubblegum, Ocean Breeze and maybe Cotton Candy. But the whole collection seems pretty blah to me.

The whole collection was actually sort of (leaving the lime and pastel purple)sold out in my grocery store within a day...Anyway, there was a 2.5dollar off Revlon sale going on though...

  7. The whole collection looks pretty boring to me. I like Ocean Breeze but I hope it's not that sheer too!

  8. I bought a dark purple color from their last "scented" collection and I really liked it...wore it all the time...but this was before I discovered China Glaze and Orly. :D Ocean Breeze looks interesting, but I'm wary about the scent that goes along with it? I hope it's not nasty.

China Glaze really has nice formula/color selection, I am not sure about orly though.

  10. These remind me of when I was a kid Cutex (now there's a brand from the past!) made a scented polish, but they were perfumey scents. I really enjoyed them-must have been in 6th or 7th grade, back in the sixties...

  11. really, who does sniff their polish? but you know what, this smell lingers for days after you paint your nails and makes you nauseous. Cute idea about not loving the smell.

  12. I bought almost all of the colors for my granddaughters. I think they are cute. Most of the colors are so vibrant. The ocean breeze is my favorite. It is not sheer if you (use 2 coats). They dry really quick. I think the smells are fun. I am not sensitive to smells, though. The Grape Ivy is also very pretty. I really like all except the gum drop which is a matte light lavender. The only one I haven't bought is the orange which I am still wanting to find. Think they are a cute summer polish.

That's so nice of you!(My mom would roll her eyes whenever she sees nail polish on me when I was....18)

I usually only wear polish for winter (to hide my purply nailbeds) but those bright teal/purple look perfect for the sunny days!
