The fact that I love laughing at those "stupid gimmicks" never stops me from falling for one. See? I totally bought a lip gloss because of the plastic bling attached.
Well, the truth is when I was checking out the bling at Walgreen, the cashier girl said, in the most seductive (as seductive as it can get for a Walgreens employee) voice ever: "I have a 3-dollar off coupon for that..." How can you not fall for that?
Now back to topic: Neutrogena Lip Soother Cooling Hydragel Lip Gloss in Shine is a very sheer (practically clear) lip gloss with a soft jelly texture. The gloss offers SPF 20, medium fruity scent and a slight cooling/tingling sensation that's not too bothersome.
The cooling sensation does feel nice on lips and the gloss doesn't taste too medical (you know sometime they use nasty chemicals to give that kind of effects). The gloss itself is plain Jane but I personally like shimmer free glosses with a slight shine (but not being super mirror-like) cute packaging and nice scent so I can get a lot of use out of this.
Overall- Boring but I like it.

That's a cute packaging. Never seen a lipgloss tube with all these tiny blings. :)It looks nice but how long does it stay on your lips?
ReplyDeletei use it and it stays for like and hour if you leave your lips alone. (no licking, rubbing,) if you keep rubbing your lips together you'll have to reaply after 30- 15 mins.

ReplyDeleteI would say the shine start to fade (but it's never (super shiny to start with) and leave an mositurizing film on the lips after an hour, overall the things stays on for 1-2 hours without eating/drinking.
This looks really nice! I love glosses, I wouldn't mind getting one for the packaging or for the product itself! The bling is so cute :)

Thanks for the offer but you wouldn't want to deal with me as I am one heck of a hairy (not literally) customer, I ordered a BarryM lip paint from a UK seller and after a month I got nothing but a "poof"...
The seller asked me to wait and wait (so he can send a replacement) and I just went straight to paypal dispute center (not my fault, he never had an actual proof of dispatch)...
Consider how since the blush is already 25 bucks in US, I bet it's more than 35 bucks after the conversion not to mention the shipping fee and time...I would rather get a tube of Chanel rouge allure or the new Guerlain kisskiss baby.
I don't like the gloss itself very much but the bling looks really nice! :)
