Burts Bees Super Shiny Shampoo

Burt's Bee is definitely a brand that's either hit-or-miss. (More like 90% miss and 10% hit) for me, but I have a soft spot for cute and down to earth packaging and shampoo free of sodium laureth sulfate. I didn't realized why did I always have to shampoo everyday until I found out that certain shampoo are cheap but I would need to shampoo everyday with them or I get itchy scalps...

It's might not be SLS or cheap shampoo formula (You can cook up an essay defending it but I wouldn't listen, what works for you will certainly work differently on me.) Anyway, all the shampoo that work well for me doesn't contain SLS so I will just keep on the route.

Burt's Bees Super Shiny Grapefruit and Sugar Beet shampoo (Is it just me or that looks like a radish?) . The shampoo has a very thin, runny texture, the liquid is soft yellow (not the nasty type)it doesn't smell like grapefruit (I wish it does those, since I love citrus scents.) but the fragrance is not offensive at all and it doesn't linger after rinsing.

Like all the organic shampoo, it's doesn't foam well but it's still potent as it leaves no residue. It won't tangle/ dry up my hair as much as long as I am careful with the rubbing. Since the shampoo is not drying, it does seem to make my hair shiny even I don't use conditioner afterward. (If you have dry and/or curly hair, I don't suggest you to do that.)

  2. I wash my hair everyday. Maybe a good shampoo will change that! I always skimp on hair products. >< I might try this out if I see it on sale.

  3. I use the Raspberry Moisture Burts n' Bees and for my unruly hair, the conditioner isn't moisturizing enough
On the other hand, it smells nice and the shampoo cleans well enough.

You should try Yes to C shampoo and conditioner.
Same sans paraben, SLS thing but I find it leaves my hair really silky.

Thanks for your suggestion, I think I will try than once I run out of the tigi and this...It's hard to go back to SLS nowadays, especially the overall cost it's actually cheaper now I don't have to shampoo every single day...
