Lunasol Skin Modelling Eyes in Beige Beige (A Revisit)

I have reviewed Beige Beige two years ago and it was a little on the negative side. Consider my preference and skin tone/condition change all the time, I feel I owe it a revisit on a warmer days. The original review was done in winter (most shadow would look like mud when my skin is sickly purple), maybe I will get its magic when my circulation is all caught up.
Plus, I have extra glamour shots of the palette, done on leopard print no less! (I bought the shirt dress thinking my "fashionable self" could pull it off without looking like an actual cougar.

Nope. I cannot pull off leopard print at all. It looks nice with the palette though.
Recap of the four shades.A glimmering beige champagne top coat, two skin beige one is slightly warm another leaning a bit of taupe. The liner shade is not really intense so it can be use as main lid shade. Aside from top coat, all three pans are smooth satin.
Now during warmer months, the shades much better on my skin, giving it a healthy glow and a tad bit of definition.
It's a my eyes but (just a little) dressier kind of look...And I finally see the whole point (it does look a little bit better than wearing no eyeshadow at all) and how it was so popular among the office lady as it's foolproof.
I kind of like it now but as I am getting super tanned, the glow and definition don't show up as well. Since the eyeshadow has a smooth and pleasant texture and the color theme goes with everything. I will make sure to wear it...as physical sunscreen. At least there won't be greasy lid or white cast.

  1. For a while I thought about trying a Skin Modeling palette but didn't like any of the available color combo :(

    1. It's boring indeed but I can sort of see it existing now. It's kind of no makeup makeup that I might be a little lazy for...It's better than having frosty beige/champagne on or Stila kitten (but I loved that back then).

  2. I almost forgot about this palette. I shall wear it at least once this weekend!

(Btw, leopards are gonna be big this fall or so I hear. The prints are gorgeous from where I see them. You should wear it! :))
