This week is truly wonderful...

1) Some scum stole my credit card number and use it to buy access to adult website...

2) The billing company told me they were sure that the charge was fraudulent and promised to refund the money...guess what they did so far...Nada.

3)I called the credit card company and canceled the number ASAP.

4) The same scum actually use the number to buy CDs online...

5) Couldn't reach the CD website. Seriously, do they only ship to unconfirmed address?

6) I am sure I will get my money back from the credit card company since I've found out early, but that will be too much of a hassles...

7)I've recently dabbled in the world of swapping, my first swap. I sent out two 99% new products, got a token (Dang, she used it already?!) but have never seen her end coming anywhere...

9) Other swappers think that I am a newbie, they always ask me to send first (which is reasonable) but not all of them let me know when they actually received it (I had tracking number) so the new girl in down always get bullied...

10)So lots of my brand new items are either deflowered, gone or just went missing in the intergalactic star dust...

On the bright side, I've found a yummy shampoo (that doesn't cost a fortune) and a good hair care product (that does cost a fortune, at least to me.) I also managed to grow my nail out a bit (surprisingly easy, just don't cut it for a week...) long enough that my fingers don't get stained when putting on nail polish. Now I can put on more nail polishes!

Actually, I am still very pissed...

  1. Citrine, I am sorry to hear about your credit card, good thing you cancelled it so the stealer can't use it anymore. Hope you will be able to reach the CD website and they help you refund the money.

I heard so many bad things swapping on Makeupalley.., i hope you can find the girl.

  2. Hi Nikki:

The credit card company is being really nice, it's just they don't open during weekend so I have nobody to yell at...

As for makeup alley, the women didn't disappear or anything, she just said that she mailed the package already but I've never see anything coming...Since she has already used the lip gloss and I am pretty sure she did the same thing with the eyeshadow, I have no use for them...not that I like anything she had to offer...

Yeah, makeup alley is scary...my first swap went like this. (I think I am *really* better off throwing the makeup in the trash, at least I don't have to waste so much energy and postage...

March will be a good month...or it simply can't get worse than this.

  3. Yikes, what a week :(

Any idea how that jerk got a lot of your credit card details? That sounds really scary.

Swapping can be sort of rough, especially in the beginning. I go through times where I feel like never swapping again, but then after a while I'm back on MUA checking swaplists lol.

  4. Hi Pixie:

As scary as it sounds, I don't have a clue. Since I don't visit fishy websites and I never reply to spoof e-mail...I always used the network from my school (a pretty good university) so the security is fairly tight...

The scariest part is that, the guy has my address when he ordered...

My only guess is that there was a security breach in a (actual) shop I went to...where hackers got access to people's personal information from the company's system...

According to the billing company person, that jerk's IP address is associated with several fraudulent activities...So I guess he is a pro...He was clever enough to make small buying like $50...but he didn't know that $50 is actually a lump sum for me.So the thing pop out easily from the statement, plus, I never buy CD. My school has large enough of a collection...

Anyway, the worst part for me is that I can't even put that person into jail...

Swapping can be hard at the beginning. I used to swap quite a lot (not on MUA, though), but I rarely do now. It's a great way to get stuff for a cheaper price but it can be such an hassle at times.

  7. Cris:

Awww, thanks...I felt like adding the cherry on top of all this madness, I threw my parent's credit card into the washer...Now my grocery money...

    I am an idiot...

    Gio:

My credit card has been with me all these time, the person just managed to get the number ordered through websites that ship to unconfirmed addresses...

Actually now I don't even want to swap anymore...Before swapping, I actually gave a whole bucket of stuff to friends (now they have too much) I don't really need more cosmetic actually, just feel like getting more space in my room.

Yes, it's indeed so much hassle...

  9. Hi Dalenna:

Yup, I am still hanging in here...I just needed a place to vent since my few friends are not enough to release my anger, where else to go if you have a blog with 100 visitor a day *snapping fingers*

Now I know the dude's name and city...I am *so* going to call the police once they let me know his address and phone number...
