Antigua - Milani Runway Wet Dry Baked Eyeshadow

So I have no clue why I went back to the Milani Wet Dry Baked Eyeshadow, when I positively hated the first two I got (from like...4 or 5 years ago?).  Anyway, the seemly complex olive-gold-taupe with the disco ball glitter of Antigua got the best of me, that's how I dived right it when it wasn't even on sale.

The picture doesn't do the ball justice (then it probably shouldn't because as soon as the top layer is wiped off,  it looks as dull as my unscrubed face), when it's hit by artificial light, you can see the glimmer emitting from various depths, casting magical chants "Buy me! Buy me!"  and make you involuntarily reach for your wallet...The shadow dome is hard, mildly powdery and dry: it doesn't spread and smooth out like the more talc-ative formula and without primer (I have like 5 tubes of those but who has time to use it all the time), the colors goes on almost like a stain...So here you go, naturally sullen eyes. (Ok, if you have the time to prime and the patience to pat on the color bit by bits on your naturally deep sockets, it might look good).
Several-wipe swatches and tilted arm (to get the glitter going). No, it doesn't look like this on the lid (you get some muddy color then a bit of gold here and there). Verdict: No more baked goods (at least eye shadow) for me.

    1. Only in this picture...I think that L'Oreal golden emerald color does everything that this color fail to do.
