Who knows that red (wedding/festive color for Chinese) and black (funeral color) can look so good together? Oh, wait..Ralph Lauren totally rocked the combo in their Fall 2011 RTW collection!

Omg I've been lemming after that Laura Mercier Lip Stain in Mulberry for a very long time! I've been trying to control myself, but the packaging looks so cute and shiny in your photo!
ReplyDeleteCan I please request a review and swatch when you have the time, Citrine?
YES new blog pet(s?)! A stoic, nip-slipping Asian warrior riding into battle on a deranged llama-oid creature? You just made my life.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Lubyantsev's hair is a tangible manifestation of his endearing and all-encompassing awkwardness. I'm just going to admit that I don't dislike it.
Very auspicious!
ReplyDeleteRita:
ReplyDeleteThe one I got is actually a free sample (it seems that it contains the same products) from Neiman Marcus last year and it looks shiny because the filter I applied to the pictures (the original was a little unbearable for me). Anyway, I reviewed it last year and the post is here

Sandrine:
Hah, the "Asian" warrior (I didn't even noticed the nip-slipping) is actually the monk from The Journey to the West (or they call it Monkey King in US?) and instead of a white horse (which is what he is supposed to be riding), he is on top of a alpaca (or "grass mud horse", more info can be found on wiki). It's supposed to be a really stupid/silly joke.
Jamilla:
I would call that wicked/evil since the combo remind me of blood and blood clot (black),
