L'Oreal Colour Riche LeGloss, Visible Lift, One Sweep Sculpting Blush Duo

For the past month or so,we have seen plenty of cool releases from Maybelline, Revlon and Sally Hansen (I still think those nail polishes are "meh" but I guess many other dig those polishes?), now let see what L'Oreal (the brand that made and discontinued two of my favorite lip glosses) has to offer...
L'Oreal Colour Riche LeGloss is a range of lip gloss in 16 shades. While you all know nothing excites me quite like squeegee tube (and cute Russian boy with chubby face and luscious blond curls,I just feel like mentioning),these L'Oreal glosses are packaged very much like their drugstore cousins from Wet n Wild and NYC, that you can get for at most 3 bucks.

Anyway, the vampy one at the bottom looks kind of interesting enough though(Even if it turn out sheer, I can still get some color payoff from the dark pigment itself). That's all for lip products, now let's head to the less interesting (to me) items.
Brush Away the year with L'Oreal Visible Lift Anti-Aging foundation that promises to "smooth on the outside and fill lines from within". I hope that brush head is removable or it would get insanitary (since they usually can't be cleaned).
New Double Extend Eye Illuminator - Just set of four double sided eyeliner pencils.I apologize for the messy picture (and the next blurry one) but I was trying to duck my nemesis - A sale girls (or shelf girl?) working there who kept on going: "Ma'am, do you need any help?" on me, even though I have said "No thanks, I am just looking around." for more than enough times.

Personally, I have no problem with people calling me Ma'am or the fact that I look like middle-age woman/senior citizen to Latinas (Well,100% of the "Ma'am"s are from those "girls").It gets pretty annoying when the same person, who didn't provide much help at all the time I actually asked, goes "Ma'am, do you need any help" every beeping time I visit the beauty isle, for a whole beeping year! I stopped visiting that specific branch just to duck her but guess what? Now she is back like Arnold Schwarzenegger...
OK, back to L'Oreal...Not only new shades are added to TheOneSweep Smokey Eye Shadow ( I still think it's going to look like a big patch of smudge if you apply it like it is), there is also a new double sided blush - bronzer that you can put on with a single swipe. The packaging could be a little nice but look at that orange (an orange blush from drugstore brand!) and coral!

Anyway, did you find any of these interesting or are you saving your lunch money for other brands instead? I went a little crazy last week with Maybelline (CS high shine), Revlon (lip balms and new nail polish) and NYC (clearance products) so now I am trying to contain myself a bit(yeah, a bit)...

  1. Hee hee, your little story made me laugh! Kudos to you ladies who are brave enough to snap pics of drugstore displays. I'm always afraid if I tried that I'd be tackled by the aggressive counter ladies in seconds, who are nowhere to be found when I actually need them, and all up in my face when I wish they'd go away! :D

That blush looks interesting, might have to give it a shot.

  2. I can't wait to try that L'Oreal lipgloss!! I love squeegee tubes too. :) Thanks for posting these pictures up, Citrine! I really appreciate you snapping these pics and ducking the sales girls lol! I always visit your blog for the lastest info on new drugstore releases because they always seem to reach your store first. You're super lucky! ;D

I might try the orange blush as well if there is a good enough of deal on that. The sales girl wasn't agressive (I mean, she is going to press me into buying a 3 dollar gloss?), just plain annoying...

Haha, that's why despite the crazy hot weather and weird tan line, I actually like being in Texas a lot!
