Ever since the departure of creative director Rumiko (who just founded Amplitude), RMK hasn't caused much excitement. But there is one thing I really like...Their shiny mirror packaging that looks oh so photogenic and an absolute joy to photograph.
The compact is small (a little smaller than matchbox if that thing still exists) and the compact itself is plastic coated in metallic paint. It's lightweight but doesn't feel particularly flimsy.
The shade I got is a medium bright pink 03 Sweet Pink. It reminds me of two older Canmake cream cheeks (still have them they are just getting a little nasty over the years).
The formula is lightweight, smooth, somewhat hydrating and very easy to blend. It creates a natural, heated kind of flush with tiny bit of dew. In a way it's similar to Canmake lip and cheek gel (not as pigmented or pretty as the regular Canmake cream cheek), and the formula is indeed rather wearable.
I personally think Canmake are much nicer quality (both wear and stay on better) so there is really no point to get the RMK (unless you really like the packaging). I paid $17 for it so it wasn't too bad.
Pink eyeliner (to get it focused) Becca Beach Tint Guava, Stila Petunia (which is also a very nice cream gel finish) and RMK Sweet Pink
Guava, Canmake Clear Love Song (cooler, deeper), Clear Pink Joy (it's a warmer pink but it appears cooler than RMK).
