Another pink product for Valentine's Day - Jordana Twist & Shine Moisturizing Balm Stain is a glossy lipstick that stains a little. The color (just the color, the different finish gives it a very different appearance) to me is identical to Revlon Just Bitten Balm Stain in Sweetheart - the same hot pink that's brightening and happy without being to grandma magenta. There are some very fine blue-purple flecks in the color but it's not at all visible once worn.
Partially protracted. The stain is semi-sheer but buildable lip color and the lipstick has a with a nice homogenous texture (although the waxy/plasticy base smell is pretty noticeable underneath the artificial watermelon scent) and a comfortable wear. It applies easily and leaves off a generous enough layer of color and a glossy shine that isn't too thick or wet. The finish goes well with the color without making it overpowering.
Jordana Tropical Frenzy, Revlon Sweet Tart Lip Butter and Wet n Wild Don't Blink Pink Megalast Lip Color
Jordana Twist & Shine Moisturizing Balm Stain Tropical Frenzy by itself
The stain left behind after I wiped off the lipstick
Overall: Not smoochable (compared to Revlon) but it's nevertheless a flattering color with great wear.
love the swatches! looks like a great stuff to try!
ReplyDeleteThe color and formula are both great (packaging and scent are alright though, the print scratches off way too easily).
