Spotted at ULTA - Covergirl Lip Perfection Jumbo Glossy Balm. Finally a Covergirl product that I want to buy. However, given its price (8.99 at ULTA and most likely more expensive at drugstore) and its sale pattern (the best deal you get is a buy one get one half off) I probably won't.
Outlast 3-in-1 foundation that works as primer foundation and concealer
(This one is from Walgreens) Covergirl Olay concealer balm. They are trying to make it sound so special when a good concealer stick should tug on skin in the first place...
Looks like Covergirl is trying to catch up to Revlon. In your opinion, is that foundation a little more yellow based? Because normally their foundation has a pink undertone--not Hispanic/Mediterranean/Oriental "friendly".
ReplyDeleteHaving Sofia Vergara as a spoke person is a smart move. I am hoping this is a reflection that Covergirl "wants" to expand their color range. But that's me being optimistic though....
I didn't pay attention why I was snapping the picture so it was hard to tell but in another display, I have seen plenty of deeper colors. Either way, the only thing that stops me from buying their stuff is the price.
DeleteAnyway, they had Sofia Vergara as a spoke model for quite a while and it's nice to see that this time they didn't photoshop away her more exotic features (like glowy skin and high cheek bone). In one of my older post, I thought/said they make her look more Caucasian than she really is and some overly-sensitive people just got...overly sensitive.

I have the concealer, and it is by far the best I've ever used for spot concealing. I'm nc 45 so I mixed the two darker shades together for a perfect match. It provides incredible long lasting coverage. Definitely prefer it to the Mac one in a pot.
