Burt's Bees Natural Acne Solution Spot Treatment

Burt's Bees Natural Acne Solution Spot Treatment is a natural zit-zapper containing Salicylic acid as the active ingredients. A few (many four?) years back I remember I was a huge fan of their roll-on blemish stick simply because I liked the herbal medicine smell (it doesn't work that well and it stings due to the alcohol content), even now I don't really need extra blemish treatment hanging around I was still happy when my roommate gave this to me.

 

Instead of the roller ball applicator, the Natural Acne Solution has dropper (?) to dispense the liquid. As for the actual content, it contains

Active Ingredient: Salicylic Acid (0.75%) Inactive Ingredients: alcohol denat., citrus medica limonum (lemon) peel oil, water, calendula officinalis flower extract, achillea millefolium (yarrow) extract, borago officinalis (borage) extract, carum petroselinum (parsley) extract, foeniculum vulgare (fennel) fruit oil, salix nigra (willow) bark extract, melaleuca alternifolia (tea tree) leaf oil, eucalyptus globulus leaf oil, juniperus communis fruit oil 

The ingredient list is almost identical to that of their roll-on blemish stick so I kind of don't get what would they have two products in the range.Maybe someone just enjoys an extra step of using a cotton swab? Not me...

Actually, I do get what's the point of a new-but-not-really product. Since the new blemish treatment belongs to the "Natural Acne Solution" sub-line, you can use the 2 dollars off coupon with it!

Overall: It smells pretty nice (in a medical and weird way) and does sooth tiny (I really mean tiny) bumps and redness caused by acne. Other wise, it's useless (more like it will stop working after a few times) on bigger break out and stings pretty bad. I still like it though...because I am weird like that.
