Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick High Shine, adorned with metallic(wonder how scratch-resistant it is) and clear top (so you can see the shade) is the new member in the popular Color Sensational lipstick range. Is it just me or the aurora-like paper display is totally adorable?
The warm colored range seems rather bland and boring. I think I might have looked at the Coral Lustre one and it seems rather pretty.
In the other hand, the pink/coral side is full of shades I want to try. The raspberry one called Pink Freeze, coral one called Disco Pink and Fruit Punch (I can't resist shades named after food/drink) are all on my to-try list.Anyway, what about you? Do you find this collection exciting like I do?
It's actually holographic plastic instead of a metallic enamel. I bought three.

Nude Glow is a really nice bronze beige that doesn't go on nearly as dark as it looks in the tube. I love Coral Lustre, totally not bozo orange but punchy and not too bright. I noticed these lippies don't have that vanilla play-doh scent the other CS do. They have a faint fruity scent. Love em!

ReplyDeleteI heard that at makeupalley as well (beside the citrus scent, the girl also said that the line reminds her of Dior addict high shine), I am totally planning to get the coral lustre and fruit punch in a week or two.
Right now the brand is not on sale in my grocery store so 7.50, even with the dollar off coupon, is a bit too much for me (I normally pay 1-3 dollars for a single drugstore lipstick) so I think I will wait a little.
Fruit punch looked divine! I write reviews for MUA so I'll have to toss in my .02 soon and do some swatching.
