Revlon Lash Potion Mascara & Nuance Nourishing Haircare

Spotted at CVS - Revlon Lash Potion by Grow Luscious Volume & Length Mascara
The tube is very colorful and busy, not sure if I like it.
Nuance Nourishing Hair Care (with a few misplaced L'Oreal items)
Limited edition Olay cleansing wipe case, I think they might get the idea wrong. People only fall for the limited edition gimmick when the design is cute...Why cares if it's limited when the pattern looks like it belongs to a disposable picnic blanket.

    1. Hey...Was your hair cut new? Because I just cut mine and it looks exactly like yours in the picture! (well, I was trimming my hair since it was uneven then I..ended up chopping off what seems like 30cm of hair. lol. Now there is no more dog-shedding in my room.)

I think the pink one is the new smoothing serum that was out earlier this year. I though the packaging is pretty cute as well although I am not sure what I can use it for (the majority of Asian have pin straight hair anyway).

  2. Yes, I never give my hair some time before changing it again. The hairdresser told me this cut would give my hair more volume and I went for it but the reality is that my hair is now more straight and thin then ever.

Good to know about the serum, those news always arrive in my country like 6 months after it's released in yours. I can only use if it is really light otherwise it would looks like I glued my hair on my head, not cool (moroccanoil does that to me... :( )

    1. In my case, the chop did make my hair more voluminous, that's because my individual strands are thick and they tend to repel each other a bit (due to static electricity, like how volumizing shampoo works) and the longer hair just weight them down so they look flatter. Strands that are finer don't gain volume with just a chop (and since your layers are gone, they might look thinner). On the bright side, this length usually grow back quickly and it's the perfect length for hats (well, when it's not too hot).

    2. thanks for that, makes sense. I'm applying a ball of volumizer mousse every time I wash it and it's helping a lot. No serums at the moment, specially cause I don't have any split ends with a hair so short. :)

Besides the volume detail I'm enjoying my short hair a lot, everything I wear looks more cute and elegant. do you feel that too?

have to admit that I'm so curious to see your hair *__*

    3. Haha, elegance is the last word I would use on my cut (but I plan to hide the mess with a beret, once I find the right pattern and yarn to knit one). My shorter hair usually get messy more easily so I ended up tying it back most of the time...Which made me look like a Honghong gangster back in the 90s.

Wait...I guess I can snap a phone-camera selfie when the sun is out (basically, I cross my eyes when I take my own picture with a normal camera...Hence the no picture in this blog).

    1. I have tried the serums from Wet n Wild, L'Oreal and Rimmel, all gave some sort of effects (Rimmel gave the most noticeable when it comes to lengthening and promote new growth, L'Oreal comes second. Wet n Wild is the most affordable one). Both Rimmel and Wet n Wild stings pretty badly when it gets into eyes so L'Oreal is a nice middle ground.
