Revlon Adore Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain

Continuing on with the Revlon Balm Stain reviews - I initially bought Adore thinking it's what the exterior suggests, a cherry pink that would presumably blend better with my skin-tone (It's weird that I like cherry red but I hate seemly neutral red that pulls cherry) .
It turns out that it's actually a brownish burgundy with lots of gold allover (maybe the abundance of gold is what makes it appear brown?). The minty-scented stick is relatively hard (in a non-squishy way) and deposit an even layer of tint. It's neither moisturizing nor drying but overall comfortable for prolonged wear.

Adore applies quite evenly and funnily enough, the load of gold shimmer actually looks very tone-down (more natural than the shimmer-less Romantic, which gives a glare) so it just looks like a wearable red with medium intensity and second-skin texture.
