Essie Luxeeffects Nail Polish, Kiss Nail Dress and Impress Press on Manicure

Spotted at Walgreens, Essie Luxe Effects Nail Polish collection (new shades instead of being limited edition)contains a holographic flakie that looks very much like Sally Hansen Hidden Treasure released last year.
Kiss Nail Polish Strips retails for 8 bucks each but there is a dollar-off coupon on the display.
L'Oreal Magic Perfecting Base now comes in a mini size (which retails for 6 dollars) and Impress press-on fake nails.

  1. Oh, if only I could find the Luxe Effects collection! We don't have any Walgreens here in Canada and I haven't seen it around yet.

  2. Well, I guess they will hit Canada in around a month? Anyway, I think there will be more drugstore brands releasing those flakie (because that how trend goes, right?)...

  3. Okay this may be a random request... but if you happen to see the display again, I was wondering what the color combinations they had on the essie luxeffects display were. I know they showed "as gold as it gets" over "sew psyched" and I believe "pure pearlfection" over "marshmellow" but that was all my CVS had in stock for me to see. Strangely, they don't write the polish names at the bottom of the display and I have all the luxeffects colors and was looking for some inspiration! Thanks! :)

  4. Nevermind- I found it online in case anyone is interested:

At Walgreens, there was a dedicated Luxeffects display with the five polishes in the collection plus five core colors, and the display suggested pairings. If I'm interpreting the little color squares correctly, Sew Psyched was matched with As Gold as It Gets, Eternal Optimist with Shine of the Times, Wicked with A Cut Above, Marshmallow with Pure Pearlfection, and Merino Cool with Set in Stones.
