L'Oreal Bare Natural Eye Shadow

L'Oreal isn't really a lousy brand but the combination of boring packaging, "old" spoke models and unfriendly (compare to Wet n Wild and Jane) makes the brand fairly uninteresting. But sales goes on once in a while and it's the perfect time to try out some auntie brands again!

The Bare Naturale is a whole mineral line with shadow, lip gloss, blush, eyeliner and base makeup. I got a loose shadow in lavender to see how the brand would perform. The tiny shadow itself has an outrageous normal retain price, reaching almost 10 dollars. I mean, at this price, why do I just go for urban decay?

After open the somewhat flimsy plastic lid, there is a shadow brush poking out, the quality is kind of like those normal drugstore brushes yout get (instead of dollars store garbage) it does pick up shadow but it isn't that soft.

Inside there is a small sifter where the looser powder gets out, there isn't a stopper there will be a massive flow of shadow unless you always keep it upright.

The actual shadow itself is pretty nice, it's a dusty plumy-lilac that's not too warm or gray. The shimmer it quite delicate and the overall finish is low key but noticiable. Overall it's a nice low key shadow but it doesn't worth the hassle of picking the loose powder up and keeping it upright all the time...

  1. I've tried tester and I felt their applicator is really hard to use :(
