Yummy Vitamin Shampoo with Acai Berry and Guava

Look at the bottle! Since it's still in the cool pink family(kind of) ...I might as well include it in the fuchsia installment! And yes, the trademarked brand is indeed "Vitamin".

I've been in search for the perfect nice smelling shampoo in gel texture ever since they stopped making the old version of Clairol Herbal Essences shampoo. While I've switched to several brands, nothing even match the fruity floral sensation Clairol gave me (may I mention, I like those promotional twin pack, which you pay 3 dollars and get shampoo plus conditioner, they have on market too...)

I think I might just live with the fact that my shower session isn't as fun as it used to be and deal with the boring Pantene and L'Oreal .(Contrary to popular belief, people do not scream in shower using Clairol...like what they did in the commercial. ) But guess what, this year, maybe because of the bad economy, there are way more new stuff out there (people settle for smaller luxury in bad times) , even for shampoo...

I first spotted Vitamin Shampoo series last week, while fulfilling my Gatorade addiction (I gulp that every time I got and chance and I don't even work out.) . The bottle just look like those Sports drinks! The texture is a gel cream...And the best part: it smells so yummy! Even better than the Clairol...

The shampoo is free of paraben, (Sodium Laureth/Lauryl) sulfates and it has a load of vitamins...It doesn't make my hair tangle that much compare to the standard brands (like Pantene, Garnier, Dove)so I don't have to break the tangle by force afterward even I don't use conditioner ...As for the powerful surge of antioxidents, I can't tell...Since aren't hair dead to start with?

  1. I think antioxidants are there to protect hair from the sun...So it doesn't end up looking even dead-er :o...But I could be wrong :-P.
And while I love L'Oreal make-up, their hair products suck >:-/. Not too satisfied with Pantene either...Maybe it's because I'm used to Tigi (XD), but I did use that Clairol stuff in high school, and I really liked it actually :-/. Not sure why I stopped...
But my very bleached hair does need extra care, so it's all good ;).

  2. Haha, yea hair is pretty much dead after it grow out of the scalp... BUT it makes a big difference whether the surface of it is smooth or not.
