Bite Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Verbena

Another day, another Sephora mini. I got Bite Amuse Bouche lipstick in Verbena back in summer of 2018 (I wasted my $26 on Ilia Lip condioner that I didn't like), back when milk chocolate brown was the hottest thing (after pumpkin brown went out of style).
When I first used it, I remember it being a little dry and thin (compared to Bite's discontinued butter cream lipstick) but I guess the hotter temperature melts it up that it's smoother to the touch.
Compared to Chai (a mauve brown) Verbena looks warmer and with more of an Orange tone. Actually this looks much more pumpkin orange Brown on me...Which I don't love.
Anyway. Bite cream formula is really kind on the lips - smooth like a lip balm and never stains...

  1. Out of curiosity, how often do you get minis? I rarely buy anything from Sephora unless it's their VIB sale o_O
I was always tempted by Bite bc they're supposed to be food grade ingredients. Got a lip crayon on clearance for $6 last year, so now I can't justify paying like $20 for their lipsticks lolol

    1. I used to place a small($25 or $35) Sephora order once or twice a month (and I always use point perk on mini lippie sometime eyecream)...So I wasted a lot of money on Sephora craps.

But on the bright side, a lot were shampoo or conditioner purchases that do get used up. I have learned my lesson and only spent 38 bucks from Sephora so far this year. Hopefully I will be a mere beauty insider by the end of the year.

    2. Ouuu hair products are always a good purchase bc we'll use it up eventually. I def have that sale mentality where I don't want to buy anything retail. Selfridges has some Sephora brands for a lot cheaper! (basically most European brands)
